Professional Experience
Amir Emadi is a dedicated advocate for those who risk their lives to protect ours. As a startup founder, CEO, and freedom fighter, he has spent 15 years advancing technologies in hardware, robotics, and AI, with the past decade focused on addressing national security challenges.
Previously, Amir advised members of Congress, the State Department, and the Pentagon on security vulnerabilities in the Middle East. He also served as Entrepreneur in Residence at Caltech, where he co-founded Soaring, a contested logistics drone company, in partnership with Dr. Mory Gharib of the Center for Autonomous Systems and Technologies (CAST). Currently, Amir is the co-founder and CEO of Airwai, an AI/robotics company transforming military and commercial airfield operations. He holds a degree in International Security from San Diego State, an MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird, and is advancing his expertise in AI and ML at MIT.
