Faisal is a healthcare executive leader with proven results at some of the most successful healthcare technology companies: Change Healthcare (NASDAQ: CHNG), Allscripts Healthcare (NASDAQ: MDRX), and Neoforma (NASDAQ: NEOF).
Faisal has commercialized data and analytics solutions, clinical, revenue cycle management, payer, and pharma solutions. He has built and scaled global organizations of 2200+ team members.
Faisal is an Independent Board Member at PE-owned companies, Copilot Providers Solutions, focused on Pharmaceutical Patient Access Solutions, and Vatica Healthcare, a Value-Based Care solution provider.
Faisal is a Senior Advisor at Frazier Healthcare Partners, one of the oldest Healthcare-focused Private Equity Firms, helping acquire fast-growing companies. He also works as a Data and AI expert supporting portfolio companies.
Before Frazier, Faisal was part of the executive team that took Change Healthcare public and then eventually sold it to Optum, a division of United Healthcare. He founded the Clinical Networks Division, which operated the most extensive national clinical interoperability network, enabling clinical data exchange among health plans and 250,000+ providers. Faisal led strategic investment in BEK Health, an AI-based clinical trial recruitment provider.
Faisal founded Veradigm, the fastest-growing business unit at Allscripts Healthcare Solutions. Recently, Allscripts renamed the company Veradigm due to the business unit’s success.
He was one of the executive leaders responsible for growing Allscripts from 600 employees to over 7,000 employees and from $350 million in revenue to over $1.6 billion annually. He led product integration for Misys/Allscripts’s $800M merger and Allscripts/Eclipsys’s $1.5B merger.
As the CEO of Truveris, a cloud-based solution for drug price transparency, Faisal led growth in revenue from $9.4M to $23.3M over two years. Faisal raised $25M in growth funding led by McKesson Ventures after a highly competitive process.
Faisal has frequently spoken at industry conferences such as CNBC’s Healthy Returns summit. He has co-authored four patents in sentiment analysis (Natural Language Processing) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques for processing large data sets. Faisal completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School and earned a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
