Tam Nguyen

Tam Nguyen, a bootstrapped Founder and CEO of Alva Precision, has 20 years of experience in the high-precision machining industry. Alva is developing a flexible Robotics system and AI software to shorten manufacturing lead times and solve the critical supply chain bottlenecks for the Space and Defense markets.

Tam started his career as a hands-on Machinist, seeing first-hand problems in legacy Machine Shops before starting his own manufacturing company. He believes autonomous technologies with the right business model can significantly improve the manufacturing speed from prototyping to scaling production. He has a deep passion for reindustrializing the U.S. At the same time, he wants to inspire the next generation to go into the manufacturing space by proving to them manufacturing is not a boring and manual task anymore.
